The area in which we are now has, no doubt, a unique ecological wealth. It is the last stronghold of Mediterranean forest in the Municipality of Osuna. The area of he Gomera is part of the Middle Subbetic hills and its major orographic accidents are the terrain of the Gomera (810 meters) and the Gomerón (754m). Together form the streambed in which we are right now:  a great place to admire the fauna of these landscapes. This valley belongs to the Royal Cattle track of Ronda disclaimed and recovered through a collaboration agreement between the Ciy of Osuna and the Ministry of Environment of the Junta of Andalucia.

Inside this Mediterranean forest, we find magnificent spots as this bird observatory. If you are attentive and qiuet, you can enjoy the flight and song of different birds, such as:

The Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvu): It is one of the largest birds of prey we can see in the Iberian Peninsula, surpassing in size (up to 260cm) even the imperial eagle.

Eurasian Eagle-Oul (Bubo bubo): It is a large size nocturnal predator.

Common Kestrels (Falco tinnuculus y Falco naurnanni). They both have a similar appearance; only differing one from the other in that one is smaller and has white nails as opposed to the common whose nails are black.

Common Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus). Most of the ones in the Iberian Peninsula is robust and has a very small head in relation o their bodies.
